The SOLIDARITY Tour, conducted by Confrontations Europe throughout the year 2019, aimed at strenghtening the active participation of various young citizens from 8 European countries (Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Serbia).
During participative and intercultural seminars and workshops in Lille, Warsaw, Prague, Budapest, Athens and Belgrade, these young participants debated and issued recommendations on various subjects at the EU’s political agenda, promoting solidarity and concerning directly young European citizens (integration in the labour market, mobility, asylum and immigration, democracy, values of the EU, enlargement…).
The project was concluded by a Final Conference at the Cité Internationale Universitaire in Paris, and gathered the young participants of the « Solidarity Group », as well as young people from Ile-de-France coming with their respective high schools or associations.
A methodology guide and a manifesto gathering the young participants’ concrete recommendations were produced and are available by clicking on the icons below.
For multilingualism purposes, and for the project to reach beyond the countries having directly benefited from it, the manifesto’s abstract is also available in the following languages:
