Overcoming the infrastructure bottleneck

However, and this is the point we want to make, even if we manage to create the right conditions on the side of the supply of long term finance for infra- structure, we will never get a market for PPP in Europe if we do not work on creating the right condition on the demand side. By that we mean the creation of a much larger base of pipelines “investment grade” and bankable projects, for large, medium and small public works and infrastructure.
