Electromobility is establishing itself as a central pillar of the European energy and industrial transition.
As part of the European Green Deal and the Fit for 55 package, the EU has set itself ambitious goals: to decarbonise transport, strengthen energy sovereignty and stimulate industrial innovation.
But these transformations come with major challenges:
- the rapid and harmonised deployment of charging infrastructure across Europe,
- securing the electricity grid and the smart integration of millions of vehicles,
- the transformation of public transport operators and industrial value chains,
- preserving jobs and social dialogue in this new era of mobility.
This conference, held in Brussels, will bring together European audience and private stakeholders, trade unionists and policy makers to exchange views on the practical implementation of electric mobility in Europe and identify the conditions for a fair, competitive and sustainable transition.
