Confrontations Europe, in collaboration with the Caisse des Dépôts Group, is organizing the 7th edition of the European Long-Term Investment Conference on July 2nd at the European Parliament in Brussels. This annual event, held for over a decade, brings together public and private decision-makers, institutional representatives, and European stakeholders to discuss the major challenges of long-term financing in Europe.

This year’s edition aims to assess the current state of investment mechanisms at the European level, in a context shaped by multiple transitions (economic, digital, social) and increasing pressure on public finances. Two roundtables will address, on the one hand, the lessons learned from the implementation of investment programs under the 2021–2027 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), and on the other hand, the conditions required to revive investment in strategic sectors essential to a sustainable and inclusive transition such as the housing sector, which is currently facing a deep structural crisis.

Confrontations Europe, en collaboration avec le Groupe Caisse des Dépôts, organise la 7e édition des Assises européennes du long-terme, le 2 juillet au Parlement européen à Bruxelles. Ce rendez-vous annuel, organisé depuis plus de dix ans, réunit des décideurs publics et privés, des représentants institutionnels, ainsi que des acteurs européens autour des grands enjeux du financement de long terme en Europe.  

L’intérêt de cette édition est de dresser un état des lieux des mécanismes d’investissements à l’échelle européenne, dans un contexte marqué par des transitions multiples (économiques, numérique, sociale) et une pression croissante sur les finances publiques. Deux tables rondes permettront d’aborder, d’une part, les leçons à tirer de la mise en œuvre des programmes d’investissement dans le Cadre financier pluriannuel (CFP) 2021-2027 et, d’autre part, les conditions nécessaires pour relancer l’investissement dans des secteurs stratégiques pour une transition durable et solidaire, à l’image de celui du logement, frappé de plein fouet par une crise structurelle.
